WOOH!! I got transferred to the Games team today! Although it only for a period of 10 days till the main programmer comes out from reservice. Really damn cool man, finally gets to do games coding and not windows forms and that forms is really shitty man. lol.
Attended the real game meeting today and learnt alot of stuffs regarding to actual progress report and updates. And was also assigned to finish up the task of lightings in their game. Ogre lightings have a few problems here and there and it really sucks badly. Esp files exported from maya files to be shown in Ogre really looks damn different. The bosses and those few artists head wanted to solve that problem and I "so called" volunteer. hahaha.
But it was great man. Working alongside with PROFESSIONAL artist is real stuffs learning man. They really wanted what they see in maya to be projected out in the game, not like some half assed games designers we had in school. Then took me whole afternoon to find out the actual light values and formulas for converting color intensity in maya to ogre and it looks just like the same in maya. :) feel so shiok. hahaha. Great job done.
Hoping to see more stuffs coming in, and try not to get the lost of an answer gets to my brains.
